A very successful lecture on the insemination of dogs took place on Saturday 15th October at the seat of ZOO Tábor in Prague. Two leading experts in this field in the Czech Republic were the main speakers: MVDr. Petra Přinosilová, Ph.D., Head of the accredited Laboratory for Spermatology and Adrology of the Veterinary Research Institute in Brno, and MVDr. Roman Vitásek, Ph.D., Head of the Department of Reproduction at the Small Animal Clinic of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Brno.
The lecture of the two top experts proved to be extremely interesting for both laymen and expert professionals, especially the owners of kennels and veterinarians. Delegates of the Czech-Moravian Union of Cynology were also among the guest of the event. Almost 60 people attended the lecture, all seats were reserved long in advance and so the capacity of the conference room hardly sufficed.
