LECTURE ON MODERN DIAGNOSTICS OF INFECTIOUS ANIMAL DISEASES RAISED GREAT INTEREST

On Saturday 14th January, another very successful lecture took place in the seat of ZOO Tábor in Prague. This time, the topic was „Molecular Diagnostics of Infectious Animal Diseases“. Dr. Soňa Peková, PhD., top expert in the field of molecular genetics and head of molecular diagnostics laboratories Vemodia and KitGen, raised the interest of all participants when she presented the most accurate diagnostic methods of today together with many interesting examples and stories from her wide practice.

The topic was especially interesting for many kennel owners and veterinaries who confirmed their interest by asking for more information about practical use of the diagnostic methods in their everyday professional practice.

More than 30 people attended the lecture – some of them reserved their places weeks in advance. All of them expressed interest to attend the next lecture of Dr. Peková the topic of which will be “Genetic Profiling of Purebred Animals“. The lecture will take place on Saturday 28th January 2017. No doubt, Dr. Peková will again demonstrate that seemingly complicated topics can be presented in a simple, yet fascinating way.
